My first Virtual Live Cooking session
When I opened my blog today and checked my last post, I got shocked that I did not realize that many years went past without any of my Recipe/cooking/travel updates.
Though I did not share anything in my blog, I did a lot of cooking and did some travels and tried new cuisines new food and also repeated our favorite food.
As much as I left my blog for some time, to compensate I have a very long post for you…..
Those bowls in the above picture still having a link from my last posts. Yes you are right!..got them from my last Portugal trip. India’s Ancient cooking was done in clay pots and I remember using them back in India. Now coming back to the topic of live cooking session….The picture above is a click for Live cooking session for my office colleagues. We had planned a dry run to check the connection and quality of video etc for the dry run.. My take was, to check total cooking/presentation time of the session. Although i had a rough estimate of time from my general experience, I thought its better way to check it once.
Now you know, what my family ate on this dry run day:-) I have picked the time 12-1pm, so I can prepare my usual weekday cooking during my lunch break.
For the dry run, I kept all the necessary things accessible. But started cutting all of veggies, chicken, Spinach etc while cooking. It is the way of cooking I do every day. I was able to complete all of them in an hour plus 10 min for spice intro. We wanted to keep everything under 1hour. With that I told the organizers, let’s remove cutting veggies/chicken & washing in live cooking, so we can complete the session within 1 hour + attending questions. I was a bit optimistic to get all done in 1 hour in the live session.!
But what happened exactly during the session was a different story and it will be shared in another post 🙂
Some of the end results after the cooking session from my kitchen..
